Activewear

Activewear, also referred to as sportswear, is casual wear used for exercising or sports activities.  Some of the major producers of activewear include Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Lucy, Champion, and Gildan.  However, many other lines of clothing also offer their own activewear styles.  Activewear includes footwear, t-shirts, shorts, tennis shirts, running gear, wetsuits and leotards.  Activewear is typically lightweight and loose enough to allow for movement.  Spandex is a common material used in form-fitting activewear.  Ideally activewear should allow the athlete to stay cool in warm weather and warm in cooler weather but transfer sweat away from the skin.
